Dressing for a destination wedding means you can get a little dramatic: We’ve seen brides marry in everything from eyelet shorts and a bikini top to Red Riding Hood velvet cloaks. But our favorite bridal accessory by far is a hat. And this year, British milliner Gina Foster—who’s created talked-about toppers for the Duchess of Cambridge (the former Kate Middleton), among other royals—has designed a collection of outstanding wedding-worthy chapeaux inspired by London’s quintessentially English luxury hotel, The Goring, in Belgravia.

Despite the British connection, these glorious headpieces would be at home anyplace where looking modern, romantic and chic is the goal. We like the Beeston (above) for a wedding in a Nantucket rose garden, or under the live oaks of a plantation beside the Mississippi. We can picture the Victoria (below) on a sunstruck plaza in Iberia, or among the vines of a California winery, or poolside at a Miami Beach ceremony.

Foster’s creations may not be for the budget-minded bride, as prices for the Goring collection start at $1,118. (Though you don’t need to travel to London to snag these charmers, as it’s easy to order online.) But the good news is that your dress needn’t be fussier than a knee-length off-white sheath. In fact, the simpler the better when you’re sporting one of these glamorous pieces. One look, and he’ll fall in love all over again.
