Destination: W magazine, Fall 2013, issue no. 3
Our new issue of Destination: W magazine is fresh off the presses (well, fresh off InDesign, in any case), with gorgeous real weddings that range from romantic and regal to beachy and breezy. So we hope you’ll start reading. But first, here’s a preview of some of the highlights.
Braedon Flynn photographed the sunny highlights of a charming Palm Springs wedding
First is a tale of a bicoastal bridal party. It started when two New Yorkers met and fell in love, then relocated to Los Angeles. When it was time to invite their country-wide network of friends to watch them tie the knot, they chose the resort town of Palm Springs–which happens to be a great place for a vacay, as well as a wedding. Photographer Braedon Flynn captured all the delightful details.
Americans Clare and Chris took their wedding to Adare, Ireland
Photographer Aaron Delesie contributed one of the most elegant yet warm-hearted weddings we’ve seen this year (he also photographed our cover). Americans Clare and Chris exchanged vows in a centuries-old Irish abbey, they treated their guests to a feast at Adare Manor, a glorious country-house hotel known for its fly-fishing, falconing, and fairytale looks. And on St. Martin, we found a couple who decided they preferred exchanging vows on a tropical island to their hometowns in New Jersey. We ‘re awfully glad that they did. Photographer Karin Von Voigtlander did a masterful job of creating images that epitomize the joy of a Caribbean wedding that is all about young love and good times.
