Next to the dress, choosing your wedding shoes is probably a bride’s biggest sartorial obsession. You want something beautiful, classic, and still wedding-worthy (so much for the gladiator knee-highs).
British shoe designer, Aruna Seth has been dazzling the well-pedicured feet of celebs like Pippa Middleton and Kate Hudson for years. In addition to her signature butterfly-brooch shoes and a collection of ultra-fab heels, flats, and boots for your everyday life, she has a spectacular line of shoes specifically designed for the bride, which make romantic use of satin, lace, and crystals.
But as much as I love her bridal collection, it’s this blush-toned peep-toe pump that totally blew me away. She calls this baby the Candy, and I’m obsessed with the jeweled heel and the pastel pink, which would go so well with a white frock. They might not scream “beach wedding,” but I can imagine them all sorts of bright, sunny places: a seaside terrace in Bermuda, a ballroom patio in San Diego, a penthouse in Miami. I would definitely rock these with a short dress so as not to cover up the spectacular back detailing.
