The second issue of Destination: W magazine is live today!
With gorgeous real wedding photography by Thayer Allyson Gowdy, Hillary Harvey, and Cengiz, of Adagion Photography, the Spring 2013 issue of Destination: W magazine invites you behind the scenes at amazing celebrations on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, in New York’s Hudson Valley, and on the Greek island of Santorini.
We’ve been working on this baby for a few months, and we think it shows. In addition to all that glorious photography—and frankly fabulous design by our ridiculously talented creative director, Kris Juzaitis—we stuffed the issue with insider advice, travel tips, and hotel recommendations from travel editor Bob Payne, as well as stunning wardrobe pages from fashion and beauty editor Sarah Leingang. Until Sarah showed me her finds for Mexico, I never imagined that a Day of the Dead bracelet could be a perfect accessory for a wedding dress.
While we’re at it, here’s a shout-out to deputy editor Barrie Gillies, who contributed an exclusive interview with designer Nicole Miller about choosing a wedding dress, as well as enlivened all the weddings with her vibrant, you-are-there reporting. And hats off to Kristi Drago-Price and Cristina Lozito, our heroic photo editors.
