Tucker’s Point, Bermuda

If you know where you want to get married but haven’t set a wedding date, get out your calendar. Almost every place in the world has a high season, when demand for rooms is at its peak (Greece in August, Jamaica in March). Similarly, most places have a low season, when travelers put up with iffy weather in exchange for bargain prices—think about the tropics in summer. But if you want to save some bucks and really enjoy the place, figure out your destination’s shoulder season, when the prices are low and the weather is pretty wonderful. A few examples: The Caribbean from October until Christmas, and the month after Easter. Bermuda in March and April; Arizona in May. Head to the Rockies anytime in summer; just wait until after mud season. And you can take that to the bank.
