A wedding dinner at L'Auberge de Sedona

A lantern-lit wedding dinner at L’Auberge de Sedona

It’s easy to fall in love with the red-rock landscape of Sedona, Arizona. It’s not so easy figuring out how to have a serene wedding in a place where RVs outnumber jackrabbits. But on the banks of Oak Creek Canyon, within walking distance of town, L’Auberge de Sedona combines a setting in the shadow of the monoliths with  Euro-cozy charm. The we’ll-do-anything-for-you staff will keep guests busy with hiking tours, yoga classes, jeep excursions, and star-gazing; wedding dinners, under the gaze of those red rocks and lit by candles and lanterns, are otherworldly. There’s tons to appreciate in the recently reno-ed cottages, including fireplaces and outdoor cedar showers, but don’t expect people to talk about anything but the jaw-dropping views. Want proof? Check out the vista from a bathroom, below. That’s no travel poster.

Another beautiful location for a Sedona destination wedding is El Portal Sedona Hotel. It is located in the Arts and Crafts District, just steps from Tlaquepaque Village and Chapel.
