The Basics
While not a wedding venue itself, the delightful West Inn & Suites is a couple of blocks from the beach in Carlsbad, and hosts its fair share of rehearsal dinners (there’s a private dining room in Bistro West, next door). It’s an ideal alternative for your guests who are watching their wallets. Particularly good for families, West’s breakfast is free and filling, the pool is equipped with water toys, and there’s a free shuttle to Legoland. Adults will love the daily happy hour, with complimentary local wine, beer, and snacks; kids are treated to milk and cookies before bed.

No wedding facilities on site, but it’s a spectacular value for guests.
Keep In Mind
West Inn & Suites is close to both the freeway and the railroad tracks, but noise isn’t an issue. And the WiFi and parking are free. Bravo.
