Fabulous face masks

Flawless, radiant skin is essential for the big day, especially if you’re marrying in an outdoor location—natural sunlight can make heavy makeup look harsh and artificial. But if you’re anything like me, you weren’t blessed with a perfect complexion. Girls like us may have to work just a bit harder to get our skin in tip-top shape, but it’s definitely doable. As a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I’ve been testing potions and lotions for years. I recently took on the task of finding some great masks that work wonders on all different skin types. Whether you’re fighting a sallow complexion, acne flare-ups, old scarring, or redness, these masks will aid in getting you wedding-ready in no time!

Sulwhasoo’s Overnight Vitalizing Mask is the ultimate in hydration. Perfect for dry skin sufferers, this mask works wonders while you sleep. Apply at night as your last step in your skincare routine and wake up with a glowing, nourished, plumped complexion.

Aubrey’s Clarifying Therapy Clay Mask works wonders on acne-prone skin, helping to keep it clean, clear and impurity free. It’s speedy too! Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and you’re done.

REN’s F10 Smooth and Renew Mask ups the radiance factor for all skin types. It gently exfoliates and detoxifies with the help of Papain and Vitamin C. You’re a quick 10 minutes away from smoother, more even-toned skin.

This is my go-to facial regimen when my skin is feeling extra congested. Mario Badescu’s Drying Mask sucks up all the oil and cleans out my pores. Since my skin is uber-sensitive, I follow with the Azulene Calming Mask to soothe and relieve any irritation.  Each mask should be left on for 20 minutes. It’s a bit of a time commitment, but trust me, it’s well worth it!

After one application of Jurlique’s Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Gel Mask, you’ll definitely notice brighter, smoother skin. It’s packed with triple-action moisturizers to deliver intense hydration and Vitamin C and E to help fight environmental aggressors. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wipe off with a warm damp cotton pad to reveal glowing skin.
