Zaza Suites Bungalow 7 Living Room

Zaza Suites Bungalow 7 Living Room—plenty big for a party

Let’s say you want a bachelorette weekend with the works: Posh hotel, buzzy pool scene, unstuffy spa, and nightlife that blends just the right amounts of urban cool and friendly welcome. If you’re anywhere near Dallas, may we direct you to Hotel Zaza, which has upended the city’s hospitality scene with mod looks (industrial art and wicker and damask all playing nice together), cheeky humor (the Shagadelic Suite has a mirror angled over the bed) and the kind of service that has business travelers clinging to the front desk at checkout.

But what makes it extra fun for a bachelorette are the 12 bungalows that opened adjacent to the hotel just this summer, which could have been built with girl gatherings in mind. And even more amazing are a handful (well, seven to be exact) of suites in the main hotel that they’re calling The Magnificent Seven, ranging in size from 1,300 to 2,200 square feet.

Built for VIPs and designed to be “a home away from home for visiting elite,” these chic havens have all the goodies you want: full kitchens and private open porches—just the ticket for a late breakfast—flat-screens and plenty of lounging space, and a grassy area out front, in case you decide to throw yourself a little garden party. Every girls’ weekend needs one central hangout spot, and the bungalows mean you can toss back those mojitos, put on some dance music, and get a little crazy without ending up in the tabloids.

The entire hotel caters to a young, social crowd: On weekend nights, there’s a DJ in the pool area until 2 A.M.; the spa offers a Morning-After Scrub and Wrap; and there’s excellent people-watching in the restaurant, Dragonfly. Oh, and did we mention goat cheese tater tots?

Kind of seals the deal.
