New Orlean’s Gothic stew of voodoo, ghosts, and graveyards makes it a favorite destination for Halloween weddings, and some macabre couples take things to the max by exchanging vows in the city’s cemeteries (arriving via hearse, natch). We’re more inclined to celebrate in a cheerier spot. Three hotels for three very different kinds of weddings: Windsor Court, the Rolls-Royce favorite of the city’s society set; International House, for small, hip gatherings and excellent room rates; and Soniat House, created from three Creole townhouses, with a shady courtyard made for romantic receptions.
